Be SMART + Be SAFE Deferred Disposition
Free Book – We will send you free copies of the Be Smart Be Safe book to provide to selected defendants with a focus on young people.
Online Test – Defendants will be instructed to take an online test as part of the Deferred Disposition process.
Certificate - The system will provide the defendant with a Certificate of Completion upon successful completion of the test.
Be Smart Be Safe Goal - We believe that by establishing strong, respectful interactions between law enforcement and teens we can change the expectations for how police and kids interact with one another, especially kids from disadvantaged and minority backgrounds.
